HR Recruiter DentaQuest - Boston, MA

JOB SUMMARY:
Provides support in the development of an efficiently staffed workforce by designing and implementing all recruiting activities to ensure the timely placement of candidates. Sources and identifies appropriate candidates both internal and external utilizing the most appropriate sourcing and recruiting techniques. Works with managers, as appropriate, to develop strategies for staffing, organizational design, training and development that are linked to the corporate mission and objectives.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Using the most efficient and effective sourcing techniques, ensures staffing needs are properly met by the effective recruiting and hiring of candidates for all positions in a timely manner- delivers slate of candidates that are indicative of the company’s focus on diversity.

Maintains the organization of staff by conducting and establishing recruiting, testing, and interviewing programs. Including counseling managers on candidate selection.

Ensures that developmental opportunities are presented to employees by managing internal job posting activities.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.

Manages the Employee Development Program by conducting one-on-one meetings with new/transferred employees to ensure proper training and development.

Manages HR metrics by providing management information and reports including turnover, hiring and EEO reporting. Stays current with best recruitment practices by participating in surveys and analyzing trends as they relate to the company, making appropriate recommendations.

Works with Corporate HR Manager to provide information used to create the Affirmative Action Plan and on an ongoing basis ensures compliance of AA goals.

Understands the Company’s compensation strategy and is able to provide consultation regarding the pay grading system to ensure the alignment with the responsibilities of the roles and advises manager and employees on the compensation strategy.

Supports financial targets by participating in the budgeting process relating to staffing.

Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations.

Represents HR and participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings as appropriate.

Understands and supports the talent review and organizational development initiatives.

Provides input to and administers all human resource policies and procedures related to staffing and recruitment.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
College Degree, preferably in Human Resources.

3 - 5 years progressive professional Human Resources and/or recruiting experience.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills required.

Ability to analyze organizational issues, translate complex concepts into action plans.

Working knowledge of legal aspects of the human resources functions.

Strong interpersonal and listening skills.

Strong general business sense.

Excellent Computer skills in PC applications (Microsoft Office).
